Thermobloc

Product FAQ

Where does Thermobloc's R26.3 come from?

From the absence of thermal bridging in the system — the insulation is continuous, uninterrupted by structure, unlike a traditional wall whose effective R-value typically drops to around R15 because of studs and joints.

Does Thermobloc fully replace a standard insulated concrete form system?

Yes — it's an improved ICF: the basic principle (insulation between two forms that get filled with concrete) is the same; the difference is that the interior form also serves as the final finish.

Can Thermobloc be used for a building taller than two storeys?

[TO CONFIRM — depends on the product's structural limits, to validate before publishing]

Does installing Thermobloc require a specialized contractor?

[TO CONFIRM — depends on whether installation requires specific training or certification]
