Thermobloc is an insulated concrete form block with an integrated stone finish. Stack the blocks, pour concrete inside, and the wall is done: structure, insulation, interior and exterior finishes, in a single step.
From outside to inside
- Exterior finishA 2-inch layer of concrete, in the finish and color of your choice.
- Continuous insulation6 inches of EPS type 2 placed on the outside of the structure: no thermal bridging, and the structural concrete stays protected.
- Reinforced concrete coreThis is where the 30 MPa concrete is poured. Reinforcement is installed according to the engineer's recommendations, using composite rebar that creates no thermal bridging.
- Interior finishA finish and color independent of the exterior. This layer also serves as the interior formwork.
