One block, four layers, one installation.

Thermobloc is an improved insulated concrete form (ICF) built from four layers:

1. 01

   Exterior concrete face

   The side of the wall exposed to the elements.

2. 02

   Insulation layer

   Sandwiched between the exterior finish concrete and the structural concrete, this insulating layer protects the structure from outdoor temperature swings. Unlike a conventional insulation system, it forms a continuous barrier, with no thermal bridging at all.

3. 03

   Center cavity

   Where structural concrete is poured on site, reinforced for wall strength.

4. 04

   Interior concrete finish

   Doubles as the finished interior surface and as formwork: no panel to install or strip afterward.

The result: a wall that comes off the job site already insulated and already finished on both sides, with no stripping step.
